I asked Lasan and Linh if they would be willing to chase down a sunrise for their engagement session and to my surprise they were. Well, Lasan was truly enthusiastic while Linh was a little concerned about surrendering his Sunday morning sleep in! The gamble with sunrise photography is you never know what you are going to get until the sun starts to crest the horizon. The beauty is every single sunrise is unique and as individual as the couple I’m shooting for. Basically we had a 4am start to the day and set off towards the lake to chase the sunrise at about 5.30am. I was very grateful that their efforts were met with such a wonderful warm display of light, shadow and texture. Thank you for being so adventurous.
